Greenwich Fire Aftermath

Recently, a townhouse complex in Greenwich had a fire that spread through multiple units. The fire started as a result of faulty and old wiring that had not been checked in many years.  The wire sparked after overheating and caught the wooden frame on fire.  Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the fire itself.  Unfortunately, the fire consumed one of the units, so a complete rebuild of the townhouse was needed.  

While the homeowners were inspecting the damage, one of them actually fell through the floor, as the structure had become compromised due to the fire.  Thankfully they were not injured, and only suffered a few scrapes.  Structural damage is always a concern after a fire, which is why you should use caution.  You should also hire a certified professional remediation company to fix the damage.
